Responsible AI Symposium
9:00 am - 2:00 pm (pt)Northeastern University Vancouver Campus (1400 - 410 West Georgia Street)
The Toronto and Vancouver Northeastern University campuses are collaborating to offer an innovative and interactive symposium about Responsible AI (RAI).
You are invited to attend in person:
9 am – 2 pm (PT) at the Vancouver campus – 410 West Georgia St., Suite 1400
The Responsible AI (RAI) symposium focuses on the competitive advantage of AI, which transforms business practices across government, private industries, and education. There is a growing emphasis on the responsible use of AI technology, and how this can be used to address, rather than deepen, bias and diversity, inclusion, and equity issues in society.
The symposium will feature industry leaders from the Digital Governance Council, Data for Good, Deloitte, Google, Mastercard, Microsoft, SAP, RBC, and TELUS discussing how to apply AI for better business and social good. These experts will discuss how companies can effectively leverage RAI through the context of corporate values, selecting fairness metrics, data usage, bias mitigation, preventing job loss, and managing regulatory change.
